Earlier this year, GreenDelta released the EN15804 add-on for the ecoinvent cut-off unit database. This database supports LCA modelling for Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), allowing for the calculation of EN15804-specific indicators.
The database has now gone through a review process and is released in version 2. The new documentation is much extended and refined compared to the previous release: //wp-content/uploads/2022/10/EN15804-add-on-in-openLCA_1.4.pdf
Review
The EN15804 add-on database has been reviewed by senior LCA and EPD expert and EPD verifier Therese Daxner, CEO of Daxner and Merl. In her work, she describes the database as “easy-to-use tool suitable to […] LCA studies according to EN 15804”. The database as well as documentation are qualified as “high quality” with “no perceivable errors and identified plausible results”.
