The Ecoinvent v.3.1 data packs have been updated in openLCA Nexus in order to facilitate the identification of their product flows in openLCA.
In the new version, the name of the process producing each product flow was added to the flow’s description. This way, the users can easily check which flow they are looking for without the necessity of opening the flow editor or using the “Usage” feature. For instance, the flow’s description is shown in the status bar of openLCA when selecting the flow in the “Navigation” pane.
Moreover, a tooltip with the producer’s name is displayed if the user hovers the mouse over the flow’s name in the “Flows” window, which pops-up when adding a new exchange to the process’ inputs/outputs.
