The DataSmart database has been released in openLCA Nexus. This LCI database representative of the North American region and provided by EARTHSHIFT contains expanded USLCI data and modified Ecoinvent v.2.2 data sets, as well as over new 700 processes covering such industries as textiles, packaging, bio-materials and dairy and all 50 U.S. state electricity mixes. Moreover, a LCIA method created by EARTHSHIFT for its use with DataSmart is also available. It is based on the ReCiPe Endpoint (H) method, and includes additionally the impact categories IPCC 2013 GWP 100a, CED and Water Depletion from ReCiPe Midpoint (H).
